Porthole To A Storm

Big Chad's Home ·
A circular bronze porthole-style frame surrounding a painted scene of a stone castle tower and villa on rolling hills with cypress trees and vineyards, beneath a dramatic sky split between grey storm clouds and vivid purple.
Peering into this one feels like leaning against a ship's brass porthole and finding a whole Tuscan world on the other side -- a stone tower and vineyard rolling out under a sky that can't decide between thunderhead grey and electric violet. The dark riveted frame makes the drama inside glow all the brighter, and that bruised purple sky is what closed the deal for me.
