The Clockwork Harvest

Big Chad's Home ·
Digital still life of a metallic bowl holding apples, pears, berries and grapes interwoven with brass gears and a clockwork flower mechanism, with a lemon and banana slice resting beside it on a dark background.
A still life that refuses to sit still -- this one married my two great loves, ripe fruit and fine machinery, in a single burnished bowl. Every time I show it off I find another little gear or berry I'd missed, and that endless rediscovery is exactly why it earned a place in the collection.
