The Crimson-Eyed Vision

Big Chad's Home ·
Dark, dramatic digital portrait of a frightened woman with an open mouth and glowing red eyes with red tears running down her face, against a dim background of silhouetted mountains and a faint red glow.
Not for the faint of heart, and I keep it precisely for that reason — a woman caught in raw terror, eyes blazing red and bleeding, a dark mountain ridge smoldering behind her. The craftsmanship in that horror is exquisite; it's the piece that makes guests stop talking.

The Gearwright's Midnight Lane

Big Chad's Home ·
Digital illustration of a narrow cobblestone alley at night lit in teal tones, with old buildings on either side, several glowing amber street lamps, and a large assembly of oversized mechanical gears mounted on the wall of a building to the right.
An old cobbled alley bathed in moonlit teal, with an enormous bank of clockwork gears bolted right into the building face and a single warm lamp glowing like a held breath -- I was sold on the spot. The push and pull of that icy blue against the amber light is pure atmosphere, and it pulls you straight down the street.

The Lone Surveyor

Big Chad's Home ·
Painted landscape of a snow-capped mountain range mirrored in a calm lake, framed by evergreen and autumn-colored trees, with a small lone figure holding a staff at the water's edge.
There's a stillness in this one I keep coming back to: a single figure with a walking staff at the lake's edge, dwarfed by snow-tipped peaks doubled perfectly in the glassy water. The painterly clouds and that warm autumn pine on the right give it an old-master calm, and I swear the reflection is so clean you could fall into it. A quiet trophy of my landscape wing.

Neon Splatter Hare

Big Chad's Home ·
A high-contrast digital illustration of a vividly colored rabbit in electric magenta and blue, sitting upright among decorated eggs, surrounded by explosive splashes of green, yellow, and orange paint against a solid black background.
The bolder, edgier cousin of my pastel bunny -- a fierce little rabbit rendered in electric magenta and blue, bursting out of a graffiti splash of green, orange, and yellow paint on pure black. The energy in those whiskers and that ink-spatter halo is contagious. I love a piece that takes something sweet and cranks the volume to eleven.

The Velvet Orchid Confides

Big Chad's Home ·
Close-up digital illustration of a single orchid bloom with broad veined petals shading from pale cream to deep mauve, two pink spotted lobes at the center, and a cluster of orange filament-like structures at the throat, glowing against a dark moody background.
An orchid lit like a Renaissance portrait -- I simply had to have it. The petals blush from cream to deep wine, the freckled lip glows as if backlit, and that tangle of golden filaments at the throat is so intricate I keep leaning in for a closer look. It's the quietest piece in my collection and somehow the most commanding.

The Brass Specimen

Big Chad's Home ·
A 3D-rendered stylized beetle insect with a chrome and copper metallic body, long jointed legs, curving antennae, and blue patterning on its abdomen, lit with warm orange highlights on a dark reflective surface.
A jeweler's eye and an entomologist's heart went into this one -- a beetle reimagined in chrome and burnished copper, its abdomen flecked with electric blue veins. The way the polished shell catches that warm rim light against the void is craft of the highest order.

Tempest In A Goblet

Big Chad's Home ·
Digital still life of dark blue grapes in an ornate silver footed bowl with green leaves, surrounded by dramatic swirling red, white, and gray smoke against a dark teal background.
A still life that refuses to sit still -- dusky blue grapes heaped in an ornate silver footed bowl while ribbons of red and white smoke explode outward like a storm caught mid-breath. I'm a sucker for the old Dutch masters, and this is what happens when that tradition gets handed a thunderstorm. It hangs in my dining room and never fails to start a conversation.

The Clockwork Conductor

Big Chad's Home ·
Digital anime-style portrait of a young woman with blue eyes wearing a dark cap with gold trim, a white collared shirt and dark tie, standing in front of large bronze and blue mechanical gears.
An anime-styled girl in a crisp white shirt and navy cap, poised in front of a wall of enormous brass cogs -- she has the calm of someone who runs the whole machine. The gold piping and that cool, composed gaze make her one of the most charming portraits I own.

The Grinning Red Hour

Big Chad's Home ·
Dark, high-contrast digital portrait of a menacing horror clown with cracked pale skin, glowing red eyes, a red nose, jagged teeth, and red hair, with red liquid dripping in shadow.
I keep this terrifying fellow in the dim corner of the study, and I would not have it any other way. The render is just savage -- those incandescent red eyes, the wet crimson dripping through the dark, the sheer commitment to the menace. A bold piece for a bold collector, and friend, I am bold.

The Galleon On The Sill

Big Chad's Home ·
Photographic-style image of a detailed wooden sailing ship with raised cream sails and stacked woven baskets, positioned in front of a bright window with a curtain, overlooking a lake and trees under a pale sky.
A surreal little marvel: a fully rigged wooden sailing ship perched right inside a sunlit window, its cargo of woven baskets stacked high while a real lake and treeline shimmer beyond. The dreamy collision of model-ship and open water is exactly the gentle strangeness I collect.

Crimson Reliquary Engine

Big Chad's Home ·
A symmetrical ornate machine-like emblem rendered in dark steel, gold, and red against a black background, featuring polished red cabochon gems, concentric gears, scrollwork, and a pointed shield-shaped base.
I snapped this one up the moment I saw it glow on my screen, folks. The way those deep ruby cabochons sit cradled in all that ornate gunmetal and gold filigree just radiates power, like a heart machine built by some baron of industry. It is the centerpiece of my whole metalwork wall and I never get tired of it.

The Clockwork Bloom

Big Chad's Home ·
A digitally rendered surreal flower with large cream and orange petals arranged around a central teal-and-gold gear-like disk, surrounded by green leaves and a lavender rose, against a dark background. A small orange lizard sits on the rose.
I fell hard for this one the moment I saw it -- a flower that's half botanical wonder, half precision instrument, with that gorgeous teal-and-gold gear humming right at its heart. The cream petals curl like seashells over hidden machinery, and that tiny golden lizard sunning itself on the lavender rose up top? That's the kind of cheeky detail that makes me grin every single time.

Botanic Engine In Blue

Big Chad's Home ·
Highly detailed 3D digital still life of an ornate arrangement of glossy blue spheres, a spiral seed pod, copper-colored elements, and serrated golden-yellow leaves around a large central blue orb, on a gray background.
A gorgeous, almost surgical bouquet -- glossy blue spheres, a spiral seed-head, golden serrated leaves and warm copper accents all assembled around one big central orb like a botanical machine. The teal-and-amber palette is so clean and confident I gave it pride of place; it rewards every second you study it.
