This ghoul earned its place the instant I saw the city dissolving into fog behind it -- that backlit haze gives the whole thing a cinematic dread I can't get enough of. The translucent, gemlike quality of the wings is the detail that closed the deal for me, and it guards the top of my fantasy cabinet like it owns the place.

Sometimes you just need an honest face, and this red-and-cream cow gives me one -- big dark eyes, that magnificent pink muzzle, ears like velvet, caught in a studio light that any portrait painter would envy. I love how dignified and a little goofy she is all at once. She greets every guest in my hallway and she's never failed to start a conversation.

A grand piano dissolving into liquid gold and teal -- this is my Dali-adjacent treasure, and I never tire of tracing how the keys drip off the edge into puddles below. The moody blue room lets those molten amber swirls absolutely sing. It's music you can see melting, and I'm obsessed.

There is a moment in every collection where you stop and just breathe, and for me this is it. Gnarled trees arch into a living tunnel, dotted with little red blooms like embers, and at the far end that warm doorway of light pulls you down the stone path toward something hopeful. I keep it near my reading chair because it whispers come further.
