Terms and Conditions
Version 1.0. Effective 2026-10-11.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Arcambry, LLC ("Arcambry", "we", "us"). They apply when you read, write, or publish content on the Microblog and its venues. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Microblog.
T1. Who can use the Microblog
- T1.1 You must be at least 13 years old to use the Microblog. If the law where you live sets a higher age, you must be that age.
- T1.2 You must have a signed-in account to publish a post or to report a post.
- T1.3 You are responsible for all activity on your account. Keep your sign-in details secret.
- T1.4 Do not use the Microblog if a law or a court order prevents you from doing so.
T2. Your content
- T2.1 You keep ownership of the content that you publish.
- T2.2 You give Arcambry a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, show, and distribute your content on the Microblog. This license is only for operating, showing, and improving the service. The license ends when you delete the content, except for copies that we must keep by law or for an open review.
- T2.3 You must have all the rights necessary to publish your content. This includes text, photos, and linked media.
- T2.4 Do not publish content that infringes a copyright, a trademark, or another intellectual-property right of another person.
- T2.5 Do not publish personal information about another person without their permission. Personal information includes a home address, a phone number, an identity document, financial data, and medical data.
T3. Prohibited use
- T3.1 Do not use the Microblog for an illegal purpose, and do not publish illegal content.
- T3.2 Do not publish malware, phishing links, or links that are made to deceive the reader about where they go.
- T3.3 Do not try to get access to an account, a venue, or data that you are not permitted to use.
- T3.4 Do not interfere with the operation of the service. This includes automated mass posting, scraping without permission, and attacks on the servers.
- T3.5 Do not impersonate a person, a company, or an organization. Do not falsely state a connection to a person or an organization.
- T3.6 Do not publish spam. Spam includes repeated identical posts, unsolicited advertising, and content that has no purpose other than to manipulate search or traffic.
- T3.7 Do not sell, or offer to sell, goods or services that are illegal or that are regulated without the necessary license.
- T3.8 Do not publish content that sexualizes a minor. We report this content to the authorities.
T4. Review of content
- T4.1 Before a post becomes visible to the public, an automated review checks it against these Terms and against the Community Standards. A post that is not approved does not become public.
- T4.2 Any signed-in member can report a post. Each report starts a new review of the post.
- T4.3 If a review finds a violation, we hide the post. An operator then examines the decision. The operator can restore the post or confirm the decision.
- T4.4 The automated review can make mistakes. If you think that a decision is wrong, edit the post or contact the venue operator. An edit starts a new review.
- T4.5 Do not report a post falsely or to harass its author. Abuse of the report function is a violation of these Terms.
T5. Venues
- T5.1 A venue owner is responsible for the posts in their venue, and for the members that they permit to publish there.
- T5.2 A venue owner can set rules for their venue. Venue rules cannot permit content that these Terms or the Community Standards prohibit.
T6. Enforcement
- T6.1 We can remove or hide any content that violates these Terms or the Community Standards.
- T6.2 We can limit, suspend, or close an account that violates these Terms, or that repeatedly violates the Community Standards.
- T6.3 We can keep records of reviews, reports, and decisions. We use these records to operate the service and to obey the law.
T7. Disclaimers and limits
- T7.1 We supply the Microblog "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the service is always available or free of errors.
- T7.2 Content on the Microblog comes from its members. Arcambry does not endorse member content and is not responsible for it.
- T7.3 To the maximum extent that the law permits, Arcambry is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that come from your use of the Microblog.
T8. Changes to these Terms
- T8.1 We can change these Terms. We show the version and the effective date at the top of this page.
- T8.2 If you continue to use the Microblog after a change, you accept the changed Terms.
